We are extremely honored and proud of our fellow DSMSOS Member Valerie Lacy who just completed her first in a series , One Woman Show "Who in the World is Valerie Lacy?" Valerie took the sold out audience at the Hudson Guild Theatre on a telling and intriguing journey through her life.
A Native of Compton, CA Valerie performed and recited important milestones and traumatic challenges that helped shape her into the powerful, positive woman she is today. Valerie has a magnificent stage presence and captivates any audience she is performing in front of. Some of our members here were in attendance at the June 22, 2024 show, and they had a wonderful time. Valerie connects with her audience while being transparent, yet she makes sure you're entertained because she keeps it REAL.

Learning to find a path to healing is the ultimate goal. Valerie's stunning performance should be highly applauded because she showed how to live and fight through severe traumas while putting faith first. She performs her show with the heart of a lioness while sharing things about her life most of us would remain silent about. Valerie showed us that is ok to be vulnerable so that we can in fact begin to heal. We are so looking forward to the next part of this exciting series!
