On Saturday December 7, 2024 Deborah Stewart Ministries hosted Sisters in Strength and welcomed women from all walks of life for an unforgettable day of elegance, inspiration, and community. The event, beautifully curated to celebrate the strength and beauty of women, was filled with delightful surprises, creative activities, and heartfelt moments that left every attendee feeling cherished and uplifted. The Fancy Hat Parade: A Showcase of Style and Grace

The morning began with the Fancy Hat Parade, where attendees strutted their stuff , showcasing their chic, stylish, and often "on point" designer hats. The audience cheered enthusiastically as each participant embraced the spotlight, turning the parade into a joyful celebration of creativity and individuality. From elegant fascinators to playful wide-brimmed hats adorned with feathers and jewels, the variety was nothing short of spectacular.

Bling and Bring Fan Contest: A Dazzling Display of Creativity

The creativity didn’t stop there. The Bling and Bring Fan Contest invited women to decorate fans with their personal flair, and the results were absolutely stunning. Glittering gems, vibrant colors, and intricate designs adorned the fans, each one telling a unique story. Contestants proudly displayed their creations in front of an impressed panel of judges, with winners earning well-deserved applause and prizes. The contest brought laughter, camaraderie, and a dash of friendly competition to the evening. A Big Congratulations to Tracey Smith who was the winner of the contest! We'd like to thank all of the participants for showing off your beautiful  fans.

Canvas Art Raffle: A Touch of Elegance

 

Art enthusiasts were thrilled by the Canvas Art Raffle, which featured breathtaking works depicting elegant women holding bouquets of flowers. The exquisite artistry captured the spirit of the afternoon—poised, graceful, and full of life. Lucky winners walked away with these treasures, leaving them with a tangible memory of a magical day. The Perfect Atmosphere: Music, Food, and Fashion

Lori Grace & Friends provided the soundtrack for the afternoon, filling the room with soulful melodies and lively beats. Their music set the tone for a night of celebration and connection.

Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch buffet, featuring an array of savory and sweet dishes that satisfied every palate. The dining experience was elevated by the festive ambiance, as conversations and laughter filled the air.

The evening’s fashion show was another highlight, as models graced the stage in stunning outfits that combined elegance and modern flair. The audience admired the craftsmanship and creativity on display, leaving many inspired to revamp their wardrobes.

We can't say how much we enjoyed our first "BREAKFAST AND BINGO" event enough, but it was spectacular! We enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast served by our host, GATHERING'S N STUFF in Downey, CA. As many of you know, they also hosted our "LIP POWER 2024" event. "BREAKFAST  & BINGO"  was an opportunity to say thank you to our MEMBERS and sponsors, and we gave away some great prizes. A Matter of the Heart
Recently, we celebrated National Heart Awareness month in February. It is a time when
the United States spotlight heart disease. The focus is on the disease and prevention of
heart disease. It is highlighted by numerous events speaking out about the disease and
how to not become a statistic to the disease itself.

However, I want to ask you a simple question, do you focus on your spiritual heart?
Do you know the condition of your heart. Just as we focus on our physical body with an
emphasis on heart disease have you examined your spiritual heart?
The heart matters and the word of God expressed it clearly in Matthew 5:8, “blessed are
the pure in heart for they shall see God”. Do you want to see God? Our lives are so
wrapped up in busy we forget to do a heart check.
Have you checked the condition of your heart. We interact with many things daily and
sometimes we act out of character and say things that are mean and hurtful. Sometimes
we have situations that cause us to become angry, even to the point of not forgiving
someone. All these things can hinder our walk with God.

Again, I ask you what your heart condition is. Are you quick to forgive and slow to
anger? With all the talk about the heart and its diseased state, I had to step back and
examine my spiritual heart. I prayed to God for forgiveness for anything that would
hinder my walk with him. I asked him to enter my heart and clean every negative corner
out.
So, today I say to you, examine your heart. Ask God to reveal your heart’s condition
and let him cleanse you. God is so amazing; he will do it for you just as he does it for
me. Be encouraged to continue your walk even when it isn’t easy, or you may fall down.
Just remember to get back up again.
Food for thought...  says, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you.

Ladies- We made HISTORY on March 9, 2024 with our 1st Annual LIP POWER 2024 Paint and Photo Event! It was truly a success, and we accomplished a fun, relaxing afternoon activity for all who were able to attend. With so many choices of things to do on a Saturday afternoon, we embraced this time to meet and fellowship with each other in a lovely environment to share the creativity within each of us.  The event took place at GATHERINGS N' STUFF located in the City of Downey, CA. 

Our very own Minister Deborah Stewart along with SnapPicture Booth Mobile Photo Booth, collaborated on this wonderful activity, and it did not disappoint! The guests arrived and enjoyed refreshments  as they fellowshipped with one another.  Once seated, they were presented with a unique canvas set that included a customized Name Tag, A postcard by Deborah Stewart Ministies, and an Apron.  Minister Stewart Greeted her esteemed guests to the event before being treated to an official welcome  to LIP POWER 2024 video.

Minister Stewart delivered a thought provoking yet beautiful sermon on "The Power of the Tongue," -in keeping with the theme of the Event and encouraged us to remember how much power our words we speak have. Then- it was time to Paint! The ladies wasted no time in getting going, as all the paint supplies were ready for them as they begin painting their masterpieces, which of course was Lips! We saw a beautiful array of colors bring creative life to these canvases as the ladies continued to fellowship.  

After her sermon, Minister Stewart joined the ladies and painted her own masterpiece.

We also acknowledged some of the guests who also attended our WINTER WONDERLAND 2023 Holiday Event with surprise gifts. We love to show our appreciation to our supporters and members here on the site!

The Ladies enjoyed two additional activities at the event including the "What's in your Purse?" game and the "Guess How many Kisses?" game and we gave away great prizes to the winners.

 This  was a fantastic Event that we are looking forward to hosting again. It was truly a wonderful time  to enjoy fellowship while creating beautiful artwork. There was a great sense of peace and calm that we should often seek in our lives when we can. We would like to thank all of our guests who attended LIP POWER 2024 as well as a congratulations for selling out the event completely. We thank you for your support of Deborah Stewart Ministries. We are looking forward to seeing you at the next upcoming event!

Many of us desire to know God’s will for our lives and what we should be doing with our
lives. There are opportunities, dreams and desires in our hearts, however, we lack the
faith to bring these desires to fruition.
Whatever the holdup is in our life that prevents us from moving into our purpose, it will
require us to take a step of faith. I am reminded, faith without works is dead
(paraphrasing James 2:26).
In 2 Corinthians 5:7, it says, for we walk by faith, not by sight. This means we live
according to what God’s word tells us and not by what we see or think. As believers, we
must believe in our hearts and with everything that God’s word is true, and he has our
best in mind for us.
I have made many mistakes by not having the faith to follow what God is telling me. I
lacked faith at one time to apply for a certain job, and it simply passed me by. I prayed
and prayed, and finally God said you simply needed to act on my word. It takes faith to
move, that action was simply applied to the job. I did not apply out of fear, and it cost me.
Are you willing to take the risk and make the move to walk in your purpose? In Matthew
14:22 Peter desired to walk on the water like Jesus, and he did. It took a lot of faith and
courage to step out of the boat. Are you willing to step out of the boat of fear and lack of
faith?
I implore you to stop self-doubt, fear, unbelief, and lack of confidence and step out.
Move forward in strength and confidence, knowing that God has his best for you. God
desires us to live by faith. Philippians 4:13 says, All things are possible with Him!
Make that decision today to hear from God and let the holy spirit lead you in your
decisions. Step out on faith and let the wonderful future that God has for you come
alive.

Hello Members! as we get closer to our LIP POWER Paint and Photo Event(CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS) I wanted to share with with you some scriptures that relate to the Mouth and or Tongue. What we choose to say in our lives is very important. Words are powerful and we always want to make sure we speak words of love and encouragement whenever we possibly can to one another. 1Peter 3:10 - -For Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. Colossians 4:6-Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Proverbs 10:19-Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues. I wish you all a blessed week!

The Venue was absolutely perfect to host this event-which sold out as there was an overflow of guests that came to watch these beautiful ladies model some of the latest custom fashions.

Our SnapPicture Booth was there to capture great shots of the models in between outfit changes.

The guests at the Holiday Extravaganza also really enjoyed capturing their memories using our SnapPicture Booth. Many were shy at first- but realized how exciting and fun it is to capture their pictures using the PhotoBooth and took many more.
The interior of the Ballroom where the Fashion Show took Place was exquisite. Guests were seated at round tables where everyone enjoyed a unique view of the event. There was also a band that provided live music as well as vendors which were set up on the beautiful outdoor patio area.

Guests were able to enjoy our SnapPicture Booth as well and took some Amazing photos that they will never forget. We customized the Event Overlays as well as our SnapPicture Booth to Match The Fashion Show colors which looked great. Guests were also treated to a delicious Buffet Lunch. There was also a raffle for holiday prizes and gifts.
